The layers of polishing resins are generally caused by the following reasons:
1) In order to eliminate the air bubbles in the gap of the resin layer at the same time when filling, many users inject water into the polishing column at the initial filling, sometimes because of the high water injection (usually 10 cm) which results in the stratification, if it is not a professional technique, so as to reduce the washing time and water consumption and improve the utilization rate of resin exchange capacity. In fact, the process of filling can be avoided, and the effect of direct dry loading will be more stable.
2) During the use of polishing mixing bed, due to the instability of production water and the shutdown of the equipment in operation, the resin equipment used in polishing mixing bed usually works slowly from the lower part to the upper part after the upper water passes through the central pipe. Because the resin layer is lifted when the resin layer is used, the resin layer falls again when the resin layer is stopped, so many times after the guide is made. The resin layer loosened and the layers appeared. Check valves can be installed at the outlet or circulating water can be designed.
3) In order to reduce the cost of production, some small resin factories do not require the regeneration rate of polishing resin, which results in the resin itself not holding tightly enough and easy to stratify naturally in the process of operation.
Today, the resin industry, especially polishing resin, is in short supply. Dow, for example, is facing a serious shortage of products with a supply period of more than 10 months. Our company has put in a new production line with an annual output of 8,000 tons of polishing resin to meet the growing demand for polishing resin.
